Steps to configure MacOS settings to work with VirnetX applications.
Some strict MacOS system settings may prevent the VirnetX Zero Trust Security Service to start properly. When the VirnetX One App starts, it will adjust Network Settings to automatically setup and route secure traffic through your VPNs. However, if the network is locked the VirnetX services will not function properly. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
1. Close the VirnetX One App
2. Open the 'System Settings' app
3. On the left, scroll down to & click on 'Privacy & Security'
4. On the right, scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the 'Advanced...' button
5. Toggle off the setting “Require an administrator password to access system-wide preferences.”
6. Restart the VirnetX One App
